Just a ten minute drive from Marengo, the McHenry County Conservation District (MCCD) operates almost thirty tent campsties and seventeen RV sites for use between May & October. Located in the middle of Marengo Ridge, the Thomas Woods campground will put you right in the middle of the woods, giving you easy access to five miles of pristine savannas and forest.

There are 151 Class A Premium sites, 87 Class B Premium sites, and their youth group camping area can accommodate up to 150 youth campers.
