Verdict: Gazelle T4 Pop-Up vs QOMOTOP Instant Tent

In the battle between the Gazelle T4 Pop-up tents – the answer is highly dependent on your budget. While only built for four, the Gazelle has a sturdier build, higher quality materials, and easier setup making the Gazelle T4 Pop-Up is a clear winner.

If the Gazelle is a bit out of your price range but you still are looking to try the pop-up life, Coleman runs a fantastic line of value equipment so you can enjoy the outdoors without breaking the bank.

Gazelle T4 Pop-Up Detailed Review

Gazelle T4 Pop-Up vs QOMOTOP Instant Tent

The Gazelle T4 is one of the best designed pop-up tents available on the market. The cube-like structure gives you six and a half feet of vertical space and 612 of floor space! The walls extend outward giving you even more room and helping keep you and your equipment from getting damp from condensation.

The tent is much easier to set up than the QOMOTOP instant, since there is very little needed to adjust other than ‘popping’ the tent up and out! The QOMOTOP also has a removable floor which helps aid in cleaning when you get home and gives you the ability to have a grass floor for daytime excursions.

While significantly heavier as a four-person tent than the QOMOTOP, neither tent is meant for any kind of backpacking trip. Thirty pounds is a bit heavy so ensure you are able to pull straight up to the campsite or try a wagon to help make carting items easier.

As tents go, the Gazelle’s ‘puffy cube’ design gives you a luxurious amount of space in an easy-to-set-up package – as long as you can carry thirty pounds to the campsite!

QOMOTOP Instant Detailed Review

Gazelle T4 Pop-Up vs QOMOTOP Instant Tent Value Pick

The QOMOTOP Instant Tent is a great, simple setup, for those who need extra room for their camping experience in a tidy package! The tent goes all the way up to ten people (140 sq ft) or as small as four people (64 sq ft). While the four person design technically has a couple more square feet of space than the Gazelle pop-up, the maximum height is only about 5 ft and the design begins to narrow immediately from the floor upward. The Gazelle feels much more spacious and offers more comfort by allowing you to stand up straight! (well, for most people at least).

The other concern that has QOMOTOP great as a value tent rather than your primary is its rainfly coverage. The fly covers a small amount of the top portion of the tent. While the Gazelle doesn’t cover much more on their end, it does overhang significantly further than the QOMOTOPs which almost hugs the exterior.

While we’d certainly recommend the Gazelle T4 when considering the Gazelle T4 Pop-up vs QOMOTOP Instant Tent, we understand that larger families or the budget-concious may be more focused on picking something to keep them safe in a dry summer night! Its no wonder that both of these tents appear on our list for the best tent for backyard camping.
